Saint John, Canada’s first incorporated city (1785), is large enough to offer world-class meeting facilities and accommodations, yet small enough to guarantee the personal attention that always makes visitors feel special.
With the Bay of Fundy at its doorstep, Saint John has some of the highest tides in the world, rising as tall as a four-story building or about 28 feet twice a day! Located at the mouth of the St. John River, the Reversing Rapids is one of the area’s top attractions, where you can witness the powerful tides push the 450 mile long river backwards twice daily. One hundred billion tons of water cascade through the mouth of the Bay from the Atlantic Ocean every 12 hours. This volume is double the daily flow of all the rivers in the world.
Compact and convenient, Saint John is a safe and walkable city with more than 10 art galleries, museums, over 50 restaurants, bars and boutiques to explore all within a four block radius. One of Saint John’s finest assets is our interconnected pedway system spanning several city blocks. Our “Inside Connection” pedway connects participants and event attendees to accommodations and recreational & cultural facilities, as well as historic attractions, dining establishments and shopping, comfortably and conveniently all under one roof.
Why not incorporate a service call and a enjoy what the Bay of Fundy region has to offer!
